ScoutME is operated by the ScoutME Team. This Privacy Policy explains how ScoutME collects, uses, stores, and protects user information.

Age Requirement
ScoutME is intended only for users who are 18 years old or older. By creating an account or using the app, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
Information We Collect
ScoutME may collect the following information:
- Account information: email address, password, role, and account identifiers.
- Player profile information: name, email, phone number, photo, birth date or age, height, weight, nationality, position, preferred foot, gender, current club, profile description or CV, and video links added by the user.
- Scout profile information: name, email, phone number, location, and profile photo.
- Trainer profile information: full name, email, phone number, age, years of experience, profile summary or CV, coaching license type, target gender, target age group, certifications, and profile photo.
- Contact request information: requests made by scouts, trainers, players, or admins to connect users.
ScoutME does not upload video files directly. Users may add external video links as part of their profile.
How We Use Information
- Create and manage user accounts.
- Display user profiles inside the app.
- Allow scouts and trainers to discover player profiles.
- Allow users to request contact through the app.
- Allow admins to review and manage users and contact requests.
- Improve app functionality, safety, and reliability.
- Respond to support, privacy, and account deletion requests.
Visibility of Personal Information
ScoutME is designed to limit direct access to personal contact information such as email addresses and phone numbers. Contact between users may require admin review or approval depending on the app flow.
Users should not share sensitive personal information in public profile fields.
Photos and Video Links
Photos uploaded by users may appear inside the app as part of their profile. Video links added by users may also appear as part of their profile.
We will not use user photos or video links for external marketing without additional consent.
Data Storage and Service Providers
ScoutME may store account data, profile data, photos, and related app data using Supabase and backend services used to operate the app.
We do not sell personal information.
Data Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data. Data transmitted between the app and backend services should be transmitted using secure connections such as HTTPS.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Account Deletion and Data Deletion
Users can delete their account and associated data from inside the app using the Delete Account option. When deletion is confirmed, ScoutME will delete the account and associated personal data immediately or as soon as technically possible.

When an account is deleted, ScoutME will delete or anonymize personal data associated with that account, unless retention is required for legal, security, fraud prevention, or legitimate operational reasons.
Data Retention
We retain user data for as long as needed to provide ScoutME services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, or enforce our terms. When data is no longer needed, we will delete or anonymize it where reasonably possible.
Third-Party Links
User profiles may include external video links or other links. ScoutME is not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party websites or services.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted through the app or through the public policy page.
